About me
I’m a London-based psychotherapist with specialist training in both evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy. I’m a fully accredited BABCP CBT therapist and fully qualified Psychodynamic therapy having trained in Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT). My approach is particularly well-suited for adults who feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, overwhelm, intrusive thoughts, or self-doubt, and who want more than traditional counselling or surface-level coping strategies.
I work with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, OCD, social anxiety, phobias, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, PTSD, relationship and attachment challenges, and longstanding patterns that feel hard to shift. Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or you’ve tried it before, you’re welcome here. My practice is inclusive, affirming, and a space where all aspects of who you are are seen and valued.
I bring over eight years’ experience across NHS mental health services and community settings. What sets my work apart is the combination of structured, results-focused CBT with deeper relational and attachment-focused insight. This means we don’t just talk about the problem or apply quick fixes- we work towards lasting behavioural change while also understanding the emotional patterns, beliefs, and relationship histories that keep you stuck.
Many clients come to me because they’ve tried counselling or CBT before and felt something was missing, perhaps it didn’t go deep enough, or it focused on insight without offering a way forward. My integrated approach bridges both. We look closely at the patterns affecting you today, while also understanding the root causes, so change becomes both meaningful and sustainable.
My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. Sessions are active and intentional. We work together with a clear direction, using tools like behavioural experiments, exposure work, and cognitive techniques, while also making sense of the deeper emotional, relational, or identity-based factors shaping your current experience.
People I support often describe feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, caught in repetitive cycles, or burdened by constant mental “noise”, overthinking, self-criticism, and worry. In our sessions, we slow this down. I help you understand why these patterns developed, why they persist, and how you can step out of them with clarity and confidence.
My approach is ideal if you want therapy that is:
- Practical and results-oriented, but not superficial
- Emotionally attuned, but not aimless or purely exploratory
- Focused on long-term change, not temporary relief
- Rooted in evidence-based practice, with depth where it matters
We’ll work together to:
-
Understand how thought loops, self-doubt, and perfectionism are shaped by your history and relational patterns
-
Use targeted, practical tools to shift unhelpful behaviours and responses
Explore emotional triggers, attachment dynamics, and self-critical narratives in a safe, grounded, and compassionate space

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Niche Areas of Interest
- OCD & Anxiety Disorders
I specialise in helping people break free from obsessive thought loops, compulsions, and constant self-doubt, using evidence-based CBT to bring calm and clarity back into daily life. - Neurodivergent Adults
I offer neuro-affirming therapy for adults with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, or Dyspraxia. In our work together, “difference” is understood rather than pathologised, and therapeutic strategies are tailored to how your mind naturally works. - Burnout, Self-Doubt & Perfectionism
I support creatives, high-achievers, and people under performance pressure who feel stuck in cycles of perfectionism, imposter syndrome, or burnout. Together, we reconnect to your confidence, creativity, and flow. - Trauma & Life Transitions
I help individuals navigate major life shifts and process difficult or painful experiences - including racial, cultural, or identity-related trauma; long-term health challenges; relationship change; becoming a parent; and other pivotal transitions. My work is rooted in restoring safety, resilience, and a deeper connection to self.
Therapeutic Approach
My approach is integrative and tailored, blending structured and relational modalities to meet you where you are and support your growth from the inside out. Key therapies and practices I draw on include:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) - for practical, evidence-based tools to address unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours
- Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT) - a brief psychodynamic approach that helps us explore relational and attachment themes
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) - for building psychological flexibility, values-based living, and acceptance of difficult emotions
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) - to cultivate self-compassion, soothe inner criticism, and develop a gentler internal voice
- Somatic & Creative Practices - including mindfulness, body-based awareness, and expressive techniques - to help you reconnect with your body, your creativity, and your authentic self
- Systemic / Family Practice informed - considering your wider relational and cultural systems

Further information
I offer both online therapy (UK-wide) and in-person sessions in London. Sessions take place weekly at a consistent time, providing structure, continuity, and emotional steadiness while you work through meaningful change.
I offer a free 15-minute consultation so you can get a sense of my approach and ask any questions before deciding to begin therapy. There is no obligation - it’s simply a chance to see whether we feel like a good therapeutic fit.
My practice is inclusive and affirming of neurodiversity, mixed-cultural identity, sexuality, faith backgrounds, and those exploring life transitions or a sense of belonging. Many of my clients describe therapy with me as a space where they can finally “exhale,” be honest, and understand themselves without judgment.
If you’re unsure where to start but know something needs to shift, we can explore that together and build a path that feels manageable and grounded.
