About me
Do you feel stuck and unable to move forward in life? Is your life being guided by uncomfortable thoughts and feelings that are keeping you stuck in unhelpful cycles? I am here to support you through life’s challenges, offering understanding, compassion and a non-judgemental space. My role is to listen and help you make sense of your experiences, so you can find adaptive ways to break out of unhelpful patterns and take meaningful steps forwards in line with your goals and values.
I specialise in supporting people with physical health conditions, including carers and loved ones, as we know the impact of a health diagnosis can affect the whole family system. However, I would be happy to support anyone who feels I am a good fit for the challenges they are facing.
I offer a range of therapeutic approaches including, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). I may draw upon a number of different therapeutic models to ensure sessions are tailored to your presenting needs.
The initial step of reaching out for help can feel really daunting but it also shows great courage and a commitment to yourself. If you are considering therapy and you think I might be a good fit for you, please get in touch to arrange a free initial consultation. Together we can explore your needs and make a plan for next steps.
If you are an organisation seeking training for your staff team or you wish to offer a group intervention for your clients, please get in touch to discuss your needs.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
