About me
I specialise in treating anxiety, stress, panic, trauma and depression. My experience includes treating self harm, eating disorders, OCD and addictions. I help adults, teens and children using Person Centred Therapy, CBT or both integrated together.
I am a qualified Counsellor and a member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). Private counselling is advantageous as an appointment could be arranged within a week. Troubles affecting how you sleep, eat or function should be dealt with as soon as possible to avoid exhaustion, irrational thoughts and an inability to communicate problems. Issues may have arisen due to changes in your life such as loss, relationship breakdown, work issues or changes with your health or self image.
My aim is to listen and guide you through your difficult time. You will feel heard, supported and understood. Together we will deal with the root of whats causing your concern and then carve out a therapeutic journey. We will review any changes required around negative thoughts and behaviour's. You may have fears about the future or feel sad about the past. Counselling gives you time and space to adapt to the here and now and to work through your problems so that you can regain balance or develop a new perspective. I have tried to offer services that are fresh, modern and varied to meet individuals preferences and needs.
Services that I offer include the following;
- Talking Therapy using a person centred approach or CBT over the phone, online or in person. CBT may be incorported as an intergrated approach. Face to face sessions are offered in a relaxed, private and confidential setting in High Leven in Yarm . £50 for 1 hour.
- Therapy Using Art helps you to explore feelings, release emotions, and unravel tension. Art supplies are provided, no artistic skills are necessary, its more about enjoyment and relaxation. £50 for 1 hour
- Teen Therapy to help with school pressure, self harm, ADHD, bullying issues, body image, self harm and general anxiety. Talk therapy can incorporate crafts if preferred. £50 per hour
- Child Therapy (12 and under) helps children to to deal with change which may affect their emotions and behaviour. Therapy is intergrated within play therapy using toy objects or creative arts and crafts. Some children are happy to talk confidently and CBT maybe incorporated £45 for 1 hour.
If you feel that therapy would be beneficial for you then call me for a chat about the next step; 07783300974. It is very important to look after your mind as well as your body. When both are functioning well, you are more likely to reach your goals and full potential.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
