About me

I believe the most important relationship we can have is with ourselves, yet so many of us struggle to accept ourselves just as we are. We constantly try to 'fit in' and attach to anyone or anything, just for that connection we so desperately seek, even if such connections do not serve us or meet our needs. Instead we sacrifice our true selves and lose our authenticity along the way. If you are struggling with identity and your own relationship (s) then I can help you reconnect to your authentic self through self-exploration to rediscover the real you and help regain your true sovereignty.
As an Integrative/EFT Tapping Therapist, I am here to help you make sense of what’s happening in your life and rediscover your path forward. In order to understand who we are in the present I believe it is important to revisit the past to unearth and unblock any limiting core beliefs we have developed as children that drive our behaviour, often in harmful and negative ways. If you’re interested in energy work, we can tap into the subconscious memory via the body’s energy points (meridians) to connect with emotions while accessing distressing memories which are often the underpinning cause of so much emotional turmoil we experience as anxiety and depression. We can work through these to release the intensity and instead offer you emotional freedom. Tapping can also be used to treat physical pain without the need to access memories. My practice is deeply rooted in promoting diversity and inclusion, ensuring that every individual feels seen, heard, and valued. I offer a warm, non-judgmental space to help you make sense of your problems.
Having had many years of therapy myself, I know how hard it can be to take the first step and reach out for help. In saying this, I do know that I have never once regretted it and know how transformational a strong therapeutic connection can be. I can assure you that you will be greeted with empathy and warmth and treated with respect and compassion.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
