About me
Supporting Women Through Life’s Transitions and Challenges.
Are you juggling work, family, relationships and everyone else’s needs, whilst feeling overwhelmed, lonely or not quite yourself. As you move through different stages of life, pressures can build, grief, family expectations, caring responsibilities, health changes, until it all feels too much. Counselling offers a calm, confidential space to pause, make sense of what’s happening and find a kinder, more sustainable way to care for yourself now and in the future.
As a woman who has built a career, raised children, nurtured a relationship and managed the daily demands of life, I know how relentless it can feel. I’m also navigating perimenopause, have supported ageing parents, and have experienced the deep grief of traumatic bereavements. These experiences shape my warm, authentic counselling style, and I bring this understanding into every session, while keeping the focus on you and what you need.
You might be living with anxiety, low mood, stress or low self‑esteem, or simply feeling that you’ve “lost” yourself somewhere along the way. Perhaps you’re adjusting to children leaving home, relationship changes, caring for parents, health shifts or bereavement. You do not have to face this alone. Together, we can work towards feeling more grounded, resourced and more connected to what truly matters to you.
I offer integrative therapy, drawing on person‑centred, cognitive‑behavioural and somatic approaches to meet your individual needs. This means we can adapt our sessions to suit you, gently exploring your feelings, noticing patterns in your thoughts and behaviour, and reconnecting with your body’s signals when life feels overwhelming. My aim is to support you step by step towards greater balance, resilience and fulfilment, so that you’re not only surviving what life brings, but also finding ways to thrive.
If this resonates with you, you’re welcome to get in touch to ask any questions or to arrange an initial session. Reaching out can feel like a big step, you don’t have to have the “right” words, we can explore things together at your pace.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
