About me
Welcome to my profile. I know looking for the right therapist can be overwhelming so I try to make my profile easy to navigate. As a psychotherapist (MBACP (Member of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy)), I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, or life feeling off-balance. I use a mindfulness-informed approach and pay attention to the mind–body connection, giving space to notice and understand your experience without pressure or judgment.
This space may be right for you if:
You experience emotional overwhelm, worry, or overthinking
You struggle with self-criticism, people-pleasing, fear of failure
You want support learning to set and hold boundaries with yourself, partners, family, or at work
You feel disconnected from yourself or from others
You have noticed your relationships with friends, partners, or family aren't what you want them to be
You want a calm, supportive space to slow down and understand yourself better
Training, qualifications & experience
I am passionate about being an ethical and professional therapist. I have dedicated years to building my knowledge base in biology, health, and psychology before and after completing my therapy training. I bring a Masters in mind–body research and a post-grad diploma in cognitive behavioural psychotherapy. I am in my final year of my PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) that is focused on the biological impact of mental health on physical health. Alongside my work, I am constantly adding to my skills by using continuing professional development to ensure my practice is ethical and up-to-date.
My experience as a support system started before my work as a therapist, where for almost a decade, I was a childminder for single mums and large family households in the United States. I was greatly honoured by the trust that was built overtime with the families and it profoundly changed my outlook on life. By nature, I am a keen listener and open minded, but this experience highlighted how powerful having a non-judgment environment can be, thus started my journey to becoming a therapist. My work as a trainee therapist, and then in a qualified role, at Lifelink, a community organisation based in Glasgow, shaped who I am as a therapist and allowed me to work with people from all walks of life. I strive to personalise the therapy experience for each person I see.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
I am acutely aware of the inaccessibility of mental healthcare in the UK. The cost can be high, but it can also be worth it. However, we cannot spend money we do not have. I offer a sliding scale for those who require it to make accessing mental health more affordable. This is vitally important to me, therefore I also offer a 100% free service to a few clients, which I call my For All Scheme. You can find more about it on my website; this is where I advertise for available spots.
You may notice different fees for therapist across the UK, largely these are impacted by overhead costs (rentals, equipment, software etc), supervisory costs to ensure ethical practice, membership and insurance fees, travel costs, salary, tax, cost of living and much more. I work on a transparent model for why my fee system is they way it is - if you have questions feel free to send me a message.
