Lynn Casey-Baker Msc, Fd.A Integrative Counselling, Registered member MBACP
Hello and welcome. My name is Lynn Casey-Baker, I provide face-to-face counselling for individuals and couples from my private practice LCB Counselling, which is a small counselling practice in Catshill, on the outskirts of central Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. Offering counselling sessions to adults in a comfortable, relaxed and safe setting.
I offer my clients a warm, confidential, non-judgemental counselling service; helping you to explore what is troubling you.
Appointments currently available weekdays, evenings and weekends.
I offer counselling to adults of all ages for a range of difficulties. For example: anxiety, depression, panic attacks, bereavement, loss, work related problems, obsessive compulsive disorder, eating disorders, post-traumatic disorder, post-natal depression, self harm, health conditions, anger issues, childhood trauma, fertility issues, addictions. Including the specialist area of substance misuse (alcohol and drugs). I have a special interest in relationship issues and family systems.
I am thoroughly trained and qualified to Masters level (Level 7), in Integrative counselling.; which means I am fully competent to use several proven theories of counselling. Allowing me to uniquely tailor how I work based on your individual needs.
Counselling is a talking therapy. Counselling is about helping you to gain a greater understanding of yourself. Helping you to have insight and understanding about how you became you, how your difficulties arose and how they are presently impacting on you.
I provide a safe, confidential, comfortable, non-judgemental environment, in which I will aim to encourage you to explore your difficulties at a pace that suits you. We can then look at creating a plan of action to either help you reconcile your issues, or to help you to find ways of coping in the present and in the future.
Sessions are tailored to meet the needs of each individual or couple. Some people may require short term counselling, such as 6 sessions; others will require more longer term counselling. A plan of work will be made together, to suit you and what you would like to address in our sessions together.

What is the next step?
If you would like to know more about the counselling offered or wish to arrange an initial assessment appointment, please contact me via email by using the 'contact me' button which is by my picture at the top of this page or telephone me on 07858 728 562. If you telephone me and I do not answer, it is likely that I am with a client so will be unable to answer. If you wish me to return your call then please leave me a message stating when might be convenient for me to call you. If you do not leave me a voice message, I will not call you back to protect your privacy, as I do not wish to intrude on you.
I appreciate that making the first initial step of making contact with a counsellor may feel daunting. I will do my best to put you at ease and to help you address any concerns or questions you may have. If I am unable to offer you an appointment I will discuss alternative options with you. The assessment appointment will enable us to get to know each other, and it can be decided if I am the right person to support you. You can then decide if you would like to meet again and we can begin to explore what is troubling you.
