About me
Helping people navigate challenges and strengthen their relationships.
Throughout life, we all encounter moments that can trip us up, unsettle us, or take us off course. During these times, it can be invaluable to have a safe, non-judgemental space to reflect, process, and find a way forward. My aim as a therapist is to provide that space to walk alongside my clients, working collaboratively and supportively towards their goals.
I know from personal experience that reaching out for support can feel like a big step. You may be feeling overwhelmed or unsure what to do. I offer a free 15 minute consultation phone call so you can decide if you would feel comfortable working with me.
At the heart of my approach is a commitment to building a strong, trusting relationship at your pace. I work together with clients, creating a safe and supportive space where exploration and growth can happen. I tailor my work to the individual needs and goals of each client, drawing on a range of theories and approaches, including attachment theory, solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy.
As a Family Therapist, I bring a relational focus to all of my work, whether I am supporting individuals, couples, or families. I believe that relationships with partners, family members, friends, ourselves, and even our work play a vital role in our wellbeing. When difficulties arise, they can often be rooted in communication issues, differences in values and parenting styles, or wider breakdowns in connection. I also pay close attention to the broader context in which people live, considering how community, culture, politics, and environment influence our experiences and relationships.
Whether working together over a longer period or focusing on a specific issue in short-term therapy, I support clients to make the changes they want to see in their lives. I believe that therapy should be collaborative and empowering, helping clients identify their strengths, achieve their goals, and build a greater sense of wellbeing and resilience.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Further information
My background as a Dance Movement Therapist continues to enrich my approach today. Although I no longer practice in that field, the training has given me a lasting appreciation of the mind-body connection, and how working with the body can help regulate the nervous system and support emotional wellbeing.
