About me

Tired of being the strong one? Want to feel more like yourself but don't know where to start?

You're in the right place. I'm Lucy, a qualified Integrative Counsellor and I offer a soft place to land when you're ready to explore what's going on beneath the surface and find ways to start improving the way you feel about yourself and your lifestyle.

Perhaps you're struggling with:

Overthinking & self-criticism 🧠
People-pleasing & setting boundaries
Feeling emotionally disconnected or burnt-out
Internal loneliness despite outward strength

If you're experiencing any of the above, I want you to know that you're not alone. My non-judgemental, relatable and calming approach helps individuals just like you to feel at ease, to get un-stuck, reconnect with yourself and find a sense of confidence and contentment.

I blend different therapy approaches together to create a plan that is unique to your needs. I'm passionate about working holistically, bringing in practical mindfulness and micro-habits to strengthen your mind-body connection.

Next step: I offer a free 20-minute introductory session (video or telephone) for us to chat confidentiality and see whether I'm the right fit for your needs. I completely understand how daunting it can feel to start therapy and will make every effort to help you feel comfortable. Get in touch to book your consultation - I can't wait to go on this journey with you!

Training, qualifications & experience

I qualified in 2021 with a CPCAB Therapeutic Counselling Diploma and have since gained over 450 hours working with individuals on a 1-1 basis and helping them through experiences with anxiety, depression, overwhelm, workplace stress, relationship issues, menopause and more. Previous clients have thanked me for my calm, kind nature and found our sessions especially helpful for allowing them to better understand the patterns they've been stuck in and how to move forward with more clarity and confidence.

I have further trained in:

Mental Health First Aid

Neurodivergence in the Workplace

Walk & Talk Therapy

Emotional Abuse & Emotional Neglect

Mindfulness for Stress

Working with Insomnia

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
