About me

Hi, I’m Lucy welcome to my page.

If you're experiencing anxiety, feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges, or dealing with deep emotional pain, my aim is to offer you a warm, confidential, non-judgmental space that allows you to feel heard, understood, and empowered.

Working with adults:

As a psychodynamic therapist, In our work together we will explore past experiences including childhood, relationships with family and friends and the impact these relationship have had on you. As well as present struggles, and future goals, enabling you to make meaningful changes in your life.

Working with young people aged 11-18

Young people can sometimes need support with managing their emotions, anxiety, depression, social, and family issues. Having a safe confidential and non judgemental space to explore their thoughts and feelings can help with this.

Working with Couples

Therapy for couples and can help with improving communication and address issues such as poor communication, intimacy, infidelity and life changes.

Working with a Family

Family therapy gives the opportunity for open communication and gives everyone a chance to be heard. It can help improve communication and relationships and support future connections.

We will work together at a pace that works for you and my role is to support you in exploring your emotions, thoughts, behaviours, and past experiences in ways that promote insight and self-awareness. Working this way gives us a better understanding of ourselves and others.

If you would like to arrange a free introductory 10 minute call then please contact me to book this.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
