About me

I am an Integrative Psychotherapist living and working in London. I am very at ease working with young adults in the 18-35 age group and with some of the specific issues they can experience. I am currently working remotely but may begin to see clients for some sessions in person over the next few months.

If you are reading this, you may be feeling that you are not living the life you want. It may feel overwhelming to start addressing things that are painful. Or to open up conversations for parts of you that don’t often get expressed. There could be a specific issue that you feel needs resolution in the short term. Or there might be more continual difficulties that remain unresolved.

A therapy conversation may feel very different from talking to friends or family and can be an opportunity to learn how to feel better and live more authentically. I believe change can occur when we work together to create new possibilities. Our sessions are led by you and supported by me.

As an ‘Integrative Therapist’, I draw upon a combination of ideas and techniques. I feel it's helpful to provide both understanding and the chance for introspection, as well as proactive tools to support positive change. The range of disciplines that I draw from includes Humanistic Psychotherapy, Narrative Therapy, CBT and Solution Focussed Therapy.

I conducted my final graduating research on developing work with the "Inner Teenager". This is based on the concept that there is a specific part of ourselves formed during adolescence and school years that can be helpful to address in psychotherapy work. If you feel this could be relevant to you, this is something we can discuss.

I have an approachable, conversational style when working with a variety of issues, including:

- Relationships and dating, including dating apps
- Worries about sex
- Worries about social media
- Feeling sad
- Family relationships
- Divorce
- Generalised anxiety
- Worries about work
- Social Anxiety
- Wanting to move on from the past
- OCD and health anxiety

If you would like to talk further about therapy please feel free to get in touch. I offer a free, no obligation, 15 minute phone consultation to all prospective clients.

Training, qualifications & experience

I come from a professional background in the creative industries. In 2015 I chose to train in counselling and psychotherapy and graduated with my diploma from BeeLeaf Institute in Contemporary Psychotherapy in 2019, and completed my psychotherapy placement at Local Counselling Centre in Letchworth.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
