About me
I am a fully qualified Psychotherapist working in private practice.
My work space is safe and quiet. I prefer to work face to face and my areas of interest are, grief and loss, trauma, stress and anxiety. I draw on Person centred, Psychodynamic and behavioural models.
I uphold an integrative approach to therapy, which in it’s essence is the importance of co-creation of an in-depth therapeutic relationship. It also involves bringing together different elements of specific therapies. I feel that there is no single model of therapy that can treat each client in all situations. This approach resonates with me as I understand the value of tailoring the therapy to my client not my client to the therapy, aiming to promote healing and facilitate wholeness.
I have worked with individuals with varied needs and have experience of long and short term therapy. I am committed to my personal development as a Therapist, so I attend regular workshops and training courses.
