I am a fully qualified Psychotherapist working in private practice.
My work space is safe and quiet. I prefer to work face to face and my areas of interest are, grief and loss, trauma, stress and anxiety. I draw on Person centred, Psychodynamic and behavioural models.
I uphold an integrative approach to therapy, which in it’s essence is the importance of co-creation of an in-depth therapeutic relationship. It also involves bringing together different elements of specific therapies. I feel that there is no single model of therapy that can treat each client in all situations. This approach resonates with me as I understand the value of tailoring the therapy to my client not my client to the therapy, aiming to promote healing and facilitate wholeness.
I have worked with individuals with varied needs and have experience of long and short term therapy. I am committed to my personal development as a Therapist, so I attend regular workshops and training courses.

Areas of counselling I deal with
I am happy to see clients for daytime or evening appointments. I am flexible with frequency of appointments as I recognise life happens whilst we make plans.
I believe in helping people to ultimately help themselves. Working in partnership with my clients to illuminate how the presenting issue will always be able to be traced back to historical events, situations, experiences or feelings. I feel honoured to be able to assist others on their healing journey. I am passionate about humanity.
