Louise Jones (MBACP MNCS-Acc) Counselling Adults, Adolescents & Couples.
Are you struggling at the moment? Are you wanting to make changes to improve your life? I am an experienced counsellor (11 years+) offering respectful, non-judgmental, confidential and supportive counselling.
Hello - I'm Louise and I am both a BACP registered therapist and a Relate trained therapist. I currently work in private practice, with adults and adolescents (I was a secondary school counsellor for 10 years) and employee assistance programmes. I’m also a Relate trained Couples Counsellor, currently working for several Couples Counselling organisations.
My approach is warm, supportive and encouraging. When we are in the right environment, we can hear and say things in a way we have not been able to before.
Most people seek counselling when they are struggling to deal with a difficult situation and are wanting things to be different. Counselling can help you to identify difficult feelings and emotions and enable you to develop and implement new strategies and thinking, to bring change. It is an opportunity to for you to have a voice and be heard.
Every person is individual and unique and each requires different things, therefore when we work together, I will help you work towards and achieve your goals. I offer a counselling experience tailor made to suit your needs. I draw from a wealth of counselling disciplines including person centred, transactional analysis, CBT, and psychodynamic.
I have extensive experience in the following areas:
- Anger Management.
- Anxiety and Depression.
- Bereavement and loss.
- Confidence and self-esteem issues.
- Domestic violence.
- Eating disorders.
- Family difficulties.
- Identity issues.
- Post natal depression.
- Relationship issues.
- Self harm.
- Teenage struggles.
