About me

As a fully qualified psychotherapeutic therapist, coach and counsellor, I offer a bespoke treatment plan tailored exactly to each client's needs and preferences. During our first session we will discuss your goals and requirements and I will offer an honest view on my recommended approach and how we might work together, before you commit to anything past the first session.
It's important that we both think we will be able to work together, as trust and rapport is a key part of a therapist's relationship with a client.  If I think your issue would be better dealt with by another therapist's speciality, I will be honest and signpost you in locating someone just right.

Types of issues I typically deal with:

General anxiety/stress/ability to cope: At some point in everyone's life they are likely to suffer from one or all of these sensations. Whether it's triggered by an isolated event, a series of events, or if there is no apparent underlying reason, counselling is highly effective in helping people understand, manage or overcome their issues.

Cancer: Dealing with your own diagnosis, or caring for someone with a cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming.

Relationship issues:
Whether you have one, avoid one, want one, miss one, can't find one, have difficulties with being in one, or repeatedly destroy them, I may be able to help. I deal with couples or individuals.

Loss/Bereavement/Grief/Terminal illness: Losing a person, a relationship or something highly valuable to you such as your independence, a purpose or a career etc. can be crippling and overwhelming. I work with terminally ill people & those preparing to lose a loved one. Counselling can be highly effective in helping you find a way forward.

Sexual Dysfunction: Qualified in Psychosexual Dysfunction I can offer support around anything that prevents you feeling happy about sex or intimacy. This is whether it is as an individual or as a couple. I've heard it all so don't be shy.

Self Esteem/Confidence/Self Worth: However it holds you back personally, there are so may many ways I help individuals overcome this and successfully move their life forward with purpose and empowerment permanently. If you take the first big step to just get in touch, I will support you with the rest.

Overcoming difficulties from the past which affect the present: We all have a past which shapes how we are today and often these beliefs and associated behaviours hold us back from living the life we desire. Counselling can be highly effective in overcoming these barriers and creating the future you want.

Career Confidence/Corporate Development: My previous work background is corporate HR and development, so I’ve worked with many clients struggling with direction, challenging work relationships, gravitas, purpose, self discovery and building your own brand.

Often the most effective treatment plans may combine a range of techniques and approaches to deal with the root causes and embed positive changes.

I'm happy to discuss any other issues you may have that aren't listed.
