Louise Dougill (Ad Dip PC, Dip Hyp, MCIPD)
As a fully qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor, coach and hypnotherapist I offer a bespoke treatment plan tailored exactly to each clients needs and preferences. With a free, no obligation consultation we will discuss your requirements and goals and I will offer an honest view on my recommended approach, duration of sessions and agree cost etc. before you commit to anything.
It's important we both think we will be able to work together and if I think your issue would be better dealt with by another therapist's speciality, I will be honest and offer support in locating someone just right.
Types of issues I typically deal with:
General anxiety/stress/ability to cope: At some point in everyone's life they are likely to suffer from one or all of these sensations. Whether it's triggered by an isolated event, a series of events, or if there is no apparent underlying reason, counselling is highly effective in helping people understand and overcome their issues.
Relationship issues: Whether you have one, avoid one, want one, miss one, can't find one, have difficulties with being in one, or repeatedly destroy them, I may be able to help. I deal with couples or individuals.
Sexual Dysfunction: As a fully qualified specialist in Psychosexual Dysfunction I specialise in this area. This basically covers anything that prevents you being happy about sex or intimacy. This is whether it is as an individual or as a couple. I've heard it all so don't be shy.
Loss/Bereavement/Grief: Losing a person, a relationship or something highly valuable to you such as your independence, a purpose or a career etc. can be crippling and overwhelming. Counselling is highly effective in helping you find a way forward.
Self Esteem/Confidence/Self Worth: However it holds you back personally, there are so may many ways I help individuals overcome this and successfully move their life forward with purpose and empowerment permanently. If you take the first big step to just get in touch I will support you with the rest.
Overcoming difficulties from the past which affect the present: We all have a past which shapes how we are today and often these beliefs and associated issues hold us back from living the life we desire. Counselling can be highly effective in overcoming these barriers and creating the future you want.
Motivation/Purpose: Being able to bring to life ones full potential can feel impossible due to many reasons. I work with many people to overcome these barriers and begin to make the changes and difference they crave.
Often the most effective treatment plans may combine a range of techniques and approaches to deal with the root causes and embed positive changes.
I'm happy to discuss any issues you have that aren't listed as I cover many more issues not listed. There is also more info on my website for those who like the detail... www.at1people.co.uk
