About me

Hi, thank you for looking at my information.  I have been a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor since 2023, working with both children and adults with a wide variety of issues. I work in schools, online (for adults and older young people) and in person.    Many of my clients identify as neurodivergent and I have both personal and professional experience of the impact that this can have. I frequently work with issues such as anxiety, low mood, grief and bereavement, low self-esteem, poor attachment, EBSA and trauma.

Knowing where to start, when looking for a counsellor, can feel challenging. You may have a good idea what you need and what to expect or this may feel very new to you. Your experience of counselling and how helpful it can be to you will depend very much on the relationship that we can build together. There are lots of fantastic counsellors out there so it's important that you find one you can feel comfortable with, and that can work with you in the way that you need. To help determine whether that might be me, I offer a free 20 minute online or telephone session so that you have the opportunity to ask questions and experience a little of how it may feel to work with me.  If you are unable to book a convenient slot through this site, please message or email me to see if we can find a suitable time.

I aim to work with you, to build an environment where you, or your child, feel free to explore any concerns that have brought you to counselling, and anything else that comes up along the way. I can provide a space for you to be yourself, without judgement, and where you will be heard. We are all individual and my role in the sessions is to help you understand yourself better, allowing you to identify ways of managing the problems you may be facing, whilst recognising your strengths and developing coping strategies.

I am trained in an integrative approach which simply means that I can work, with you, to discover which therapeutic approach will suit you best. I currently offer online and in person sessions. I work with you to determine how many sessions are needed and part of our agreement will include an agreement to regularly review how the sessions are going for you.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries, would like to book an introductory session or see a copy of my contract. I aim to respond to enquiries within 48 hours.
