About me
I am a trauma-informed pluralistic psychotherapist working with adults and young people.
Many of the people I work with appear strong on the outside but feel overwhelmed or exhausted inside.
You might be someone who keeps things going for everyone else. You manage work, family, and responsibilities, and from the outside it may look like you have everything together. But inside, you might feel tired, anxious, stuck, or simply carrying more than you should have to carry alone.
Therapy offers a space to pause and talk about what has been weighing on you. A space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported without judgement.
My approach is pluralistic and collaborative, which means I draw on different therapeutic approaches and work with you to find what feels most helpful. There is no single right way to do therapy. We will work together in a way that feels safe and manageable for you.
Before retraining as a psychotherapist, I worked in a senior corporate role. This gives me a real understanding of the pressures of balancing work, responsibility, and expectations while still trying to keep everything together.
Alongside my private practice, I have experience as a volunteer listener with the Samaritans, as a counsellor supporting individuals living with chronic pain through a CRPS charity, and working as a school counsellor supporting children and young people. These experiences have deepened my understanding of how people cope with distress, uncertainty, and long-term challenges.
Change does not have to be loud to be powerful.
I work with adults and young people experiencing anxiety, stress, trauma, life changes, relationship difficulties, and feeling overwhelmed.
Sessions are available face-to-face in Hitchin and online across the UK.
I offer a free 15 minute introductory call so we can talk about what is going on for you and see whether working together feels like the right next step.
You do not have to know exactly what you want to say.
That is what the conversation is for.
