Lisa Fairhead Counsellor Psychotherapist MA (MBACP)
The Lodge House
Life is better when we are at ease with ourselves and the world.
At times, we need help to overcome the problems and anxieties that life and relationships can throw at us. So finding the right therapist is the first step in helping to explore the issues and concerns that can weigh us down. It’s a relationship that is built on trust, expertise and understanding – with your needs centre stage.
I work collaboratively with you, to identify and acknowledge how your past and present relationships and family backgrounds can affect you. Wherever you are on your journey, counselling gives you the opportunity to challenge the difficult issues and unhelpful patterns of behaviour. My role as your therapist is to offer you a supportive, safe and confidential environment to explore what is required to bring about realistic and lasting changes that are in your best interest.
I am a qualified and experienced Registered Counsellor/Psychotherapist with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and Relate Directory. I offer short and long-term therapy for a wide range of issues such as communication and relationship breakdowns; anxiety and stress, the impact of life events; family issues; trauma, loss and bereavement.
Alongside my private practice, I have worked at Relate for the past 10 years, providing counselling to Couples, Individuals and Families. I am also a Young Person’s school-based counsellor in a large secondary school two days a week.
You can either reach my practice by email or the confidential line 07970773939. If when you call I am unavailable, please leave your name and contact number and I will call you as soon as I become available.
