About me
I offer a neuro-affirming, person-centred counselling service supporting adults experiencing anxiety, including generalised anxiety disorder (GAD), as well as those living with chronic illness, or the lasting effects of difficult life experiences. Many of these challenges are deeply interconnected, often impacting both the nervous system and sense of self over time.
If you often feel constantly on edge, overwhelmed, or stuck in cycles of worry, you’re not alone. Living with anxiety can be exhausting, especially when you’ve spent years pushing through, masking how you feel, or trying to meet expectations that don’t fully support your needs.
My approach places you at the centre of our work together, offering a safe, supportive space where you can begin to understand your anxiety and how it shows up for you. Alongside this, I gently integrate practical tools from Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) to help reduce anxiety, calm the nervous system, and shift patterns that may feel stuck, always working at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
As someone with lived experience of neurodivergence, I offer a neuro-affirming approach that recognises and respects different ways of thinking, feeling and experiencing the world. You won’t need to mask, over-explain, or justify your needs here. Instead, we work together to help you feel more understood, more grounded and more confident in yourself.
Whether your anxiety feels constant, situational, or difficult to put into words, therapy can help you develop greater self-awareness, build emotional resilience and find ways of moving forward that truly support your wellbeing.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
