About me

I am a qualified Psychotherapist using modalities of EMDR, DBT and Adlerian psychotherapy in my work. I have worked in the field of mental health helping people find relief and ways to negotiate their problems for over 16 years.

My counselling room is in the centre of the beautiful city of Ely, Cambridgeshire, with free parking in public car parks close by.

I work in a targeted, caring and empathic way, recognising trauma informed relational working and the importance of the joint process of practitioner/client (the therapeutic relationship) to help you achieve your goals.

We can negotiate length of treatment and budget (reduced costs for part-time and low paid workers, and those on some benefits, pensioners, etc.).

The counselling process underpins EMDR, and working together, we can negotiate a pathway to help your journey. This will allow you to help us work together to shape the therapy to your needs.

My practice is underpinned by Adlerian psychotherapy, which is both congruent with EMDR and proven to help with trauma. The Adlerian perspective is holistic and allows you to reach your goals.
