About me
I am a fully qualified experienced integrative counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am also a Counselling Lecturer.
My private practice is based in Orpington, Kent.
I offer a confidential, safe and non-judgemental space for clients to explore any issues or concerns that they have, which may be impacting on their lives, their relationships and/or their emotional wellbeing.
I am passionate about Women’s issues, particularly around life stages, pregnancy, parenting, menopause and relationships.
I also specialise in working with adults who are experiencing a wide range of personal challenges, for example, finding their identity, life stage, personal relationships, depression, anxiety, social anxiety, loss and many other issues that may arise.
I regularly work with counselling students to support them through their experiences and challenges that arise throughout their training. I offer concessionary rates for counselling students.
I have vast experience of working with clients within very varied settings, such as schools, GP practices, hospices, community counselling, as well as private practice. I work with a range of approaches, tools and techniques and offer short-term or longer-term therapy which will be tailored to meet the individual needs of each client.
I am a member of BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and adhere to their professional framework to ensure safe and ethical practice. I attend regular clinical supervision and am committed to my own professional development.
I have full indemnity insurance and hold a current DBS.
Next steps
Engaging in Counselling can feel overwhelming and scary; this is perfectly natural. Please feel free to make an appointment for us to have an initial, informal chat on the phone so you can ask any questions, and we can discuss what is going on for you and how we may be able to do some meaningful work together.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
