About me
I’m an experienced therapist working with adults and young people (11+), offering a relaxed, confidential space where you can talk freely about whatever’s on your mind. We’ll work side by side, figuring out what you need from therapy (and just as importantly, what you don’t!). This is your space, and I’m here to make sure it works for you.
Therapy can be uplifting and life changing, but let’s be honest, it can also be bloody tough. Sometimes you might leave a session thinking, 'what the f*…?!', and that’s okay. However, it can also bring moments of lightness and genuine connection, a space where you can laugh, cry, and say whatever’s on your mind without fear of being judged. I’m here to really understand your experience, celebrate your strengths, and support you as we explore what truly matters to you.
As an integrative therapist, I don’t believe in a one size fits all approach. Our work is shaped around you. I blend different ways of working, including person-centred, psychodynamic, and attachment-based ideas, to create something that really fits your needs.
Together, we can explore what’s happening for you right now while also making sense of your past. We’ll gently uncover patterns in how you relate to others and shine a light on the deeper, often hidden processes that might be influencing your life. The goal is to help you understand yourself more fully and feel more in control of where you’re headed.
Alongside my private practice, I also work as a therapist within the education system and as an addiction recovery specialist within the NHS, bringing a broad range of experience into my work.
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, and a Diploma in Counselling Children and Young People. I’m a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), the UK’s professional body for counsellors and psychotherapists.
I work in line with the BACP Ethical Framework, which means I’m committed to practicing safely and ethically, upholding a high standard of professionalism in all aspects of my work.
I offer in‑person sessions from my quiet consultation room in Runfold, as well as online appointments, so you can choose what works best for you. I have both daytime and evening availability to fit around real life.
If you’re curious or have any questions, I’d love to hear from you, just get in touch. We can arrange a free 20‑minute chat on the phone, so you can get a feel for me and see if working together feels right. There’s no pressure at all - it’s really important you find a therapist who feels like a good fit for you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
