About me
Having trained integratively, I use a variety of therapeutic modalities, carefully tailored to meet your individual needs. My primary focus is on humanistic therapies, including person-centred and existential approaches.
Person-centred therapy emphasises exploring your thoughts and feelings at your own pace, with a focus on your unique, subjective experience. This reflective process can lead to a deeper understanding of the self. It offers a supportive space where you are free to consider who you are and what truly matters to you - without pressure, judgement, or expectation.
Existential therapy addresses some of life’s fundamental concerns - freedom, isolation, death, and meaning. Engaging with these themes can foster greater understanding and a sense of authenticity. This approach encourages you to reflect on your values and sense of purpose, while acknowledging the uncertainty of life as well as the anxiety and responsibility that accompany personal choice.
I place great value on creating a secure, non-judgmental environment that cultivates a therapeutic alliance where warmth, compassion, and trust are at the forefront. Therapy is a collaborative process, working together to discover what works best for you.
Working with clients from diverse backgrounds, including a range of cultures, identities, and life events, has provided me with valuable experience in addressing a wide variety of psychological challenges. Some of these challenges include difficulties with relationships and communication, as well as experiences of anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, grief, and self-esteem issues.
I have a keen interest in working with parents and primary caregivers, mothers and women in particular, which is why I align my availability with the UK term-time schedule. My aim is to offer support during what can often be a demanding and under-supported period, helping parents and caregivers feel seen, heard, and empowered as they navigate this important stage of life. I offer flexible therapy options, including short-term (6–12 weeks) and long-term or open-ended (12 months+) sessions.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
