About me
As a BACP-qualified integrative counsellor, I provide a safe, confidential space for tailored, solution-focused therapy. I specialise in supporting clients through a variety of issues including (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and neurodivergence assessment/diagnosis.
My approach is collaborative, empathetic, and non-judgemental, designed to help you gain new perspectives and make positive changes.
I offer 60 or 90-minute sessions with a structured review at week four to ensure your goals are met. Starting therapy can be daunting, however you are not alone - let’s work together toward your authentic self.
Taking the first step to find a counsellor is often the hardest part, and it is a positive sign of strength to reach out for support during difficult times, whether you are managing daily stress, complex emotions, trauma or urgent mental health crises.
I also offer traditional couples counselling as well as Discernment Counselling for Couples. These sessions are 90 minutes.
Discernment counselling is a short-term, structured therapy (1-6 sessions) for "mixed-agenda" couples, where one partner is "leaning out" and the other is "leaning in". It aims to provide clarity and confidence regarding the future of the relationship - whether to reconcile, separate, or maintain the status quo - rather than immediate conflict resolution. This approach can be a significant step in reducing conflict, as it takes the pressure off the "leaning out" partner to fix things immediately and gives the "leaning in" partner a space to be heard.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” - Carl R. Rogers, On Becoming a Person: A Therapist's View of Psychotherapy

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
