About me

Making Change Therapy offers professional, confidential online therapy with a focus on Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT). The service is led by a registered psychiatrist, providing a clinically informed yet approachable space for people looking to understand and change unhelpful patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and relationships.

I work with adults experiencing a range of difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, relationship challenges, eating difficulties/disorders and long-standing patterns that feel hard to shift. CAT is particularly helpful for those who want to go beyond symptom management and develop a deeper understanding of how past experiences may be shaping current difficulties.

Sessions can be delivered face to face or online, offering flexibility and accessibility across the UK. The approach is collaborative and structured, with a strong emphasis on building a shared understanding and practical tools for change.

Training, qualifications & experience

The service is led by a fully qualified psychiatrist with extensive experience in mental health assessment and treatment.

I have completed specialist training in psychiatry and are trained in Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT). I am registered with the Association for Cognitive Analytic Therapy (ACAT) and work in line with its professional standards.

I have experience working within NHS mental health services across a range of settings, supporting children and adults with anxiety, depression, eating disorders etc.

Ongoing professional development is supported through regular external clinical supervision, ensuring safe, reflective, and high-quality therapeutic practice.
