About me

Hello, my name is Leigh and I offer a safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.

I work in a peron-centred way, which means each 50-minute weekly session is personalised to meet your needs and focuses on what you want to discuss or work towards. We will work at your pace and each session will be guided by you.

I have worked within different agencies over the years to deliver high quality counselling in different settings. I have worked with adults of all ages, who present with a range of issues including anxiety, low mood, life transitions, bereavement, low self-esteem, relationship issues, work issues and trauma.

Looking for the right counsellor in a place where there are so many to choose from can feel overwhelming, especially when you are going through a difficult time. It is important that you find someone you feel comfortable working with. This is why I offer a free no obligation discovery call so you can make an informed choice about whether we are a good match, before proceeding on to any paid sessions.

The process of working with me begins by emailing me to book a 20-minute discovery call.

If you would like a bit more information about me and how I work please click on "visit my website" button at the top of the page.

Wheelchair user access info
Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

I have different rooms that I use. If you require wheelchair access just let me know and this will be in place for your session.
