About me
Counselling for individuals who feel emotionally overloaded, whilst quietly coping.
In a fast paced, high pressured world, you may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected from yourself.
You don’t have to continue to carry this alone. I provide a space to support you to process and navigate what you’ve been carrying.
My way of working offers containment and direction. Sessions last 50 minutes and take place on a weekly basis. We’ll focus on understanding what’s shaping your experience and what you’d like to change.
Sessions are tailored around you to support you to reach your therapeutic goal(s).
Whatever brings you here, we’ll work collaboratively, checking in on goals and progress while staying open to what emerges along the way.
I offer both short-term and longer-term therapy and I keep my client load intentionally small so I can stay present and attuned to the work.
When you’re ready, I’m here to offer a space that is steady, compassionate and personalised to you.
Training, qualifications & experience
In addition to my counselling qualifications, I have a degree in Human Psychology, a Master’s in Mental Health Clinical Research and additional training in leadership and coaching. Over the years, I’ve worked in a range of settings (including established agencies) and supported people of all ages with a wide variety of experiences.
People come to me with many different concerns. Some are living with anxiety, low mood or stress. Others are navigating bereavement, relationship difficulties, life transitions, low self-esteem or the lasting impact of trauma. What matters most to me isn’t fitting you into a category, but understanding your individual experience and what you’re carrying.
Every person I work with is different. So it’s important that each session is shaped around individual needs. I don’t believe one size fits all, which is why I work from a mindset of meet the individual where they are and explore what works for them.
What remains consistent, is my commitment to offering a space that feels safe, respectful and supportive. I bring not only my training and experience, but compassion, care and a way of working that supports meaningful change over time.
