About me
I offer online counselling sessions via Zoom or telephone, so you can access support from the comfort of your own space.
My approach is warm, relaxed, and down to earth. I aim to create a safe, supportive environment where you can talk openly, feel heard, and explore whatever is going on for you without judgement.
I work with a range of areas, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationships, and LGBTQIA+ experiences. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just not quite yourself, we can work through it together at your pace.
My ethos is Talk. Heal. Thrive.
For me, this means counselling isn’t about “fixing” you, it’s about creating space to talk, begin healing, and move towards a way of living that feels more authentic and manageable for you.
I offer a free 15-minute introductory call, giving you the chance to ask questions, share what’s bringing you to counselling, and see if we feel like the right fit.
Starting counselling can feel like a big step, and it’s completely usual to feel unsure. My aim is to make the process feel as comfortable and supportive as possible from the very beginning.
You don’t need to have all the answers, just a willingness to start.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a Level 5 qualified counsellor, trained in both Gestalt Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I work integratively, meaning I blend these approaches depending on what suits you best, there is no one-size-fits-all way of working.
Alongside my counselling training, I previously worked as a development coach. This experience allows me to bring both empathy and practical tools into sessions, supporting you to not only explore your experiences but also develop ways to manage and move forward.
I also work in Learning and Development, which has strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, support growth, and create a space where people feel comfortable to learn about themselves and make meaningful changes.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Sessions are collaborative and centred around you. We’ll explore what’s going on in your life, build awareness of thoughts and feelings, and gently look at patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
Some sessions may feel reflective and calm, others might feel more challenging or thought-provoking, all are part of the process, and I will be alongside you throughout.
There’s no pressure to have everything figured out. You can come exactly as you are.
