About me
Life’s challenges can sometimes feel overwhelming. You may be experiencing anxiety, depression, stress or PTSD, making it hard to manage daily life. Relationships, work, or major life changes might feel difficult to navigate, or past experiences may still have an impact.
As a Clinical Psychologist, I provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain a deeper understanding of yourself, and develop effective coping strategies. My approach is tailored to your individual needs, using evidence-based therapies to help you move forward. I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and other psychological approaches to support healing and change.
I build trust and safety through a strong therapeutic relationship. I use compassion-based and mindfulness techniques to help clients learn to relax and feel safer in their minds and bodies. Many individuals struggling with anxiety or low mood lose their sense of achievement, connection with others, and ability to enjoy life. I encourage reconnection with these important aspects of wellbeing.
EMDR is particularly effective in helping people process distressing memories and emotional experiences that may feel stuck. By using bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps to reduce the emotional intensity of past experiences, making them feel more distant and less distressing. This process can support recovery from trauma, reduce anxiety and stress, and create space for a more positive and empowered way of living.
I hold myself to ethical and evidence-based practices, ensuring that you receive the most effective care based on the best available research. Our aim is to work together as a team to help you be the sort of person you want to be and build the sort of life you want to live. You will learn skills and techniques to handle difficult thoughts and feelings more effectively so they have less impact on you.

Finding the right therapist is important, which is why I offer a free, no-obligation 15-minute introductory call. This gives you an opportunity to discuss your concerns, ask any questions, and explore how we might work together in a way that feels right for you.
Clients often describe me as helpful, supportive, and understanding at really difficult times. They have said, 'You listened with compassion, understood me, and offered solutions, but above all, you gave me reasons to continue. You re-set my mind and untangled that which troubled me. My outlook these days is mainly positive.'
My goal is to help you feel empowered, develop greater emotional resilience, and live a life that aligns with your values and aspirations.
