About me

Are you experiencing challenge/s in your life that leave you feeling heavy, stressed, anxious, chaotic and or full of expectations?

Is low self-esteem, low mood, depression, anxiety impacting your day to day life?

Are you going through significant life changes, challenges at work or relationship difficulties?

You are not alone.

I am an empathic integrative counsellor focusing primarily on Person-Centred talking therapy which is non directive, allowing you to lead the conversation. I will facilitate the session and support you in providing a supportive, safe space for reflection and personal growth. I can help you to understand how and why this has occurred and look at ways to move forward that feel right for you?

I will provide a safe non-judgemental space where you can share your thoughts, feelings, problems and worries in confidence and at your own pace.

I will listen to you and use my counselling skills to support you in understanding yourself which will then empower you to identify and then action any changes that you would like to make.

The support I offer can either be on a short term basis for a specific challenge or longer term to allow for deeper exploration.

My aim is to create a safe, non judgemental, accepting space for you where we can build trust between us allowing you to explore your thoughts and feelings and work towards a solution that is right for you.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
