About me

If you're facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, low confidence, grief, relationship difficulties, or other personal struggles, I offer a confidential and compassionate space where you can speak openly and be truly heard, without judgment.

Life doesn’t always run smoothly, and there are times when it can feel overwhelming. While we often manage to cope, there are moments when things can become too much, leaving us feeling lost, burdened, disconnected, or emotionally drained. This is when therapy can provide valuable support.

I work one-to-one with adults aged 18 and over. My experience spans a wide range of issues, and I tailor the length and focus of our work, whether short-term or open-ended, to meet your individual needs and goals.

Every person’s experience is different, and I reflect that in my approach. I draw from a variety of therapeutic methods, including person-centred therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for anxiety, grief counselling, and mindfulness-based techniques. Whether you're navigating the deep pain of loss, living with persistent health concerns, or facing other challenges, I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace, in your own time.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified counsellor and an accredited registrant member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I am also a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Counselling is a second career for me. I retrained as a therapeutic counsellor after raising my family and running a family business.

Since 2023, I’ve been fortunate to be part of a counselling team at a Surrey hospice. More recently, I've expanded my work into the community as a palliative care counsellor, supporting patients living with life-limiting illnesses.

Alongside my hospice work, I run a private practice from a beautiful office in Guildford, offering both face-to-face and online sessions. Home visits may also be available under certain circumstances, subject to additional travel fees, which can be discussed at the time of booking.
