About me

I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist, committed to providing a safe and supportive space where people can feel heard and understood. I believe that change is possible, and I want to empower people to begin to move forwards.

Leah Rose Therapy gives personalised support tailored to who you are and what you need right now. I remain attentive not only to what you say, but also to what you don't say - noticing patterns, silences, and the small details that can reveal deeper meaning.

Together, we'll work in a goal-oriented and future-focused way. We'll set clear, achievable aims and regularly review your progress, so your time in therapy feels purposeful and keeps you moving towards the future you want, at a pace that feels manageable and sustainable.

If you're looking for thoughtful, practical support from someone who truly listens, I'd love to work with you.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • Postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (Adult IAPT), Kings College London.
  • Postgraduate certificate in Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Interventions for Common Mental Health Problems, University College London.
  • Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology with a professional placement year, Sussex University.

Experience:

I have worked within NHS Talking Therapies services since 2020. I began as a Clinical Support Worker before completing my Postgraduate Certificate in Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Interventions, which led to my role as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner and later Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, a position I held for two years.

In 2024, I completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapies at King’s College London and now work as a qualified CBT therapist.

Prior to joining the NHS, I worked for one year as an Assistant Psychologist with older adults living with dementia. I also worked for a year as a Support Worker supporting children and young people with epilepsy and associated neurological conditions, including learning disabilities and learning difficulties.
