About me
CBT & EMDR Therapist in Guildford, London Bridge & Online.
Do you find yourself constantly overthinking, struggling to relax, feeling on edge or avoiding situations that others seem to handle with ease? You might not describe your experiences as "trauma" but a part of you may know that something doesn't feel right and hasn't felt right for a long time.
I work with adults who carry the unseen weight of childhood adversities, criticism or emotional chaos, often without realising it. These early experiences can shape patterns of anxiety, panic, OCD, health worries or a deep sense of disconnection from yourself or others. Therapy offers a chance to understand these patterns with compassion and gently create new ways of responding to life.
I'm an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and EMDR Therapist. I specialise in therapy for post-traumatic stress disorder, trauma-based anxiety and mind-body approaches to healing. My work draws on evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), alongside body-based practices informed by my work as a yoga teacher.
Together, we'll explore what's beneath the fear or overwhelm, helping you feel more at ease in your body, clearer in your mind and more aligned in your relationships and choices.
Clients often come to me after trying to push through or figure things out alone (this usually will have been the case since childhood). If you're looking for therapy that honours both your resilience and your nervous system, I offer a compassionate and creative space to explore what's been holding you back and what healing could look like for you.
I offer a free 20 minute call by phone or video call so that we can explore whether working together feels right for you.
Sessions are available in Guildford, London Bridge and Online (which can be ideal if you travel regularly or live outside of the UK).
