About me
I am a Somatic Body Psychotherapist and Movement Practitioner with over 15 years of experience working in the UK and in Australia. I strive to give people a deep and holistic approach to mental health support, through integrating the mind-body connection.
I blend methods depending on the needs of each individual, creating a safe, calm and healing space. I mostly use a humanistic model with psychodynamic elements. This powerful therapeutic framework can have a profound impact for individuals and groups, providing a source for healing and self- discovery and development.
Sessions might include verbal engagement, somatic experiencing, breath work and body awareness techniques.
I am also a creative clinical supervisor, working with both groups and 1:1.

Feedback from clients:
“Lauren is a good listener and gives great advice. We talk, do exercises, sometimes we draw…It makes me uplifted, talking to Lauren about my problems”

“I can turn up as I am. Sometimes I don’t even think I have anything to bring, and then realise that I always do! Lauren makes me feel seen, settled and that nothing is too big of a problem. I value our weekly sessions so much.”
