About me

Trauma-informed therapy for anxiety, overthinking and emotional overwhelm.

I offer online therapy sessions across the UK, providing a safe and supportive space you can access from wherever you feel most comfortable.

You may look like you’re coping on the outside, but inside feel anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally exhausted - often caught in patterns that are hard to understand or break. This might show up as overthinking, struggling to switch off, people-pleasing, shutting down, or reacting in ways that don’t feel like “you” in relationships.

These responses are often rooted in earlier experiences, particularly if you’ve been through difficult or overwhelming situations in the past. Even when life appears “fine” on the surface, your nervous system can still feel on edge, depleted, or stuck in survival patterns.

I specialise in working with people who are carrying the effects of trauma, whether from childhood experiences, relationships, or more recent events. Together, we gently explore what’s happening beneath the surface, helping you make sense of your reactions and feel more grounded and in control of your emotions.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on creating a space where you feel safe enough to be fully yourself without judgement. Alongside talking, we may also explore patterns, emotional responses, and how your past experiences connect to your present life.

Over time, therapy can help you feel calmer, more connected to yourself, and better able to navigate your relationships and daily life.

If this resonates, you’re very welcome to get in touch. I’m happy to answer any questions or arrange a short initial call to see if we feel like a good fit.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
