I am a qualified and experienced Psychotherapist and Counsellor offering short and long term therapy. I help clients with a wide range of issues including, but not limited to, Depression, Anxiety, Bereavement, Relationship problems and Low self-esteem. People come for many reasons.
I believe if you can trust someone with your thoughts and feelings, you are able to explore different ways of looking at them and accepting things you can't change.
Talking to someone outside your family is also helpful and I work individually according to your needs with patience and understanding. No problem is too small to discuss. I work face to face, zoom or telephone, so do feel free to book your first session.

How to start your sessions
Getting started is very easy, just call me on 07778 005951 or click here to send me an email. We can discuss timings and any questions you may have about counselling and then if you are happy to proceed, we can book an appointment.
Online sessions last 50 minutes, the same as a face to face session. On the initial consultation, we discuss what you would like to explore and what brings you to therapy, see how you feel talking with me and then going forward, plan to meet weekly.

What are the benefits of online therapy?
This way of accessing therapy is working well and you can book times to suit you, and make time for yourself. It is more flexible with appointments though the time frame of sessions is the same as face to face. There are no travel costs involved and you can work from the comfort of your home or office, or wherever is convenient. I am also returning to face to face therapy for those who prefer to meet in person and welcome you either way.
Training, qualifications & experience
I completed a MA/PGdip at Regents University, preceded by a Foundation course in Psychotherapy and Counselling at Regents University.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (MBACP).
I worked at Regents College, Kensington and Chelsea College and London Metropolitan University gaining experience as a therapist and since then have been working privately on a one to one basis.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Coming out of lockdown, things may seem a little different so its important to check in with yourself and allow for any adjustments, whether its working from home or gradually returning to the office.
