Laura Lonsdale PG Dip MBACP
I am a qualified psychotherapist and counsellor and offer short and long term therapy. My approach is person-centred which means you are listened to with respect and understanding. Each person has a story and talking things through may change your perspective and help you feel more positive about yourself allowing you to move on with your life.I offer a comfortable and confidential space to be heard without judgement as I work individually according to your needs. No problem is too small to discuss.
"Laura, words cannot express how grateful I am for your time, wisdom and encouragement this past year. Thank you." -
Sometimes it’s hard to know where to turn when you are struggling with difficulties and decisions, and family members can be too close.
That's where I can help
With over ten years’ experience, I support people through life’s difficulties including generalised anxiety, depression, low self esteem and any relationship issues. Only you know how you feel and it can help to express it as we work together and make sense of things.
I believe that being understood and respected is important to recovery and shifts how we feel about ourselves. Clients often remark on my positive energy as we talk things through and build a trusting relationship. I work in a calm and relaxing centre where you are greeted with care and a cup of tea.
It all starts with the first step
The good news is you've already done this by finding this website. Next, by calling me on 07778 005951 or emailing me, we can discuss any questions you may have about counselling and book an appointment which lasts 50 minutes. I work in a calm health centre, Anamaya, which is 3 minutes walk from Kensington High Street tube station and easy to find. We have an initial consultation talking through what it is that brings you to therapy, and if you feel this is going to be helpful, we then meet on a weekly basis.
I look forward to welcoming you.
