About me
I am a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with over 14 years of experience working in both the NHS and private practice. I genuinely enjoy working with people and offer a person-centred, integrative approach to therapy. I understand that reaching out for support can feel daunting, and I believe real, meaningful change happens when therapy feels safe, collaborative, and non-judgemental.
My aim is to offer a space where you feel truly heard and supported—somewhere you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Through our work together, I can help you reconnect with who you are, and what matters most to you. We’ll gently explore what might be getting in the way of living the life you want, and I’ll support you in building the understanding, tools, and confidence to face life’s challenges with greater ease and self-compassion.
I have experience supporting people with a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, including:
Depression and low mood
Anxiety
Stress and burnout
Trauma and PTSD
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Relationship difficulties
Eating-related concerns
Low self-esteem
Chronic pain and long-term health conditions
I also work with individuals who are navigating emotional difficulties linked to life transitions, past or traumatic experiences, challenges at work, or the impact of accidents, illness, or being a victim of crime. Whatever you're facing, you're not alone—and support is available.
My Approach
I provide both brief and longer-term psychological evidemce-based therapy and work integratively, drawing from:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Mindfulness
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
I have extensive experience working in mental health and physical health settings and engage in regular supervision to reflect on and enhance my practice.
Ways to Work Together
I am based in Lichfield, Staffordshire, and thanks to online therapy, I can work with people Nationwide. I also offer walking therapy, working therapeutically outdoors. Being in nature can offer powerful opportunities for healing, and we can also blend online and outdoor sessions—especially helpful in unpredictable weather. I also have use of a lovely clinic space in a holistic therapy centre in the centre of Lichfield City Centre, for face to face sessions, although these slots go quickly!
What You Can Expect
I enjoy working with people and offer a person-centred, integrative approach to therapy. I know it can feel difficult to reach out for support, and I believe meaningful change happens when the therapeutic relationship feels safe, non-judgemental, and trusting.
My aim is to provide a space where you feel supported to work towards your goals. I will share psychological knowledge and skills to help guide your journey and create meaningful, lasting change. The decision to reach out for support can feel difficult, and I believe remarkable change can happen when the relationship with the therapist feels safe and trusting. I understand through experience the deep value of having a safe and non-judgemental therapeutic space, to develop a shared understanding and facilitate change.
