About me
Your life has purpose, your story is important, your dreams count, your voice matters.
During these difficult times, I would like to assure you that I am here and seeing clients via zoom or by telephone to help you manage your situation.
I am an integrative counsellor in Farnham and will provide a safe space for you to be truly heard with no agenda and no judgement. The purpose of counselling is to explore your situation together. By beginning to acknowledge and make sense of your thoughts, although it may not feel like it right now, the answers are inside you and our work together will be to uncover them, which will help you to find the best way for you to move forward.
It is rare to find someone who has not experienced some difficulty or trauma in their life. Finding someone to share those difficult memories and feelings with no agenda is therapeutic and infinitely healing. I hope to be that person for you.
Sometimes we may be swan-like, presenting a calm and sorted exterior but our inner world can be the complete opposite, feeling confused, anxious and sad. I have years of experience talking with people of all ages and backgrounds with diverse and complex difficulties. Each person and situation is unique and my training allows me to draw on a range of therapies and approaches to best support you.
While therapy at times can be a painful process, it is also an empowering one, giving you back control of your life and an ability to thrive rather than just survive.
So what happens next?
Please either email, telephone me or use the contact form on my website, all of which are completely confidential. If you leave me a message I will contact you within 24 hours to arrange for us to meet or we can have an initial chat first if that feels more comfortable, and for you to see if counselling feels right for you.
Once we have agreed to work together, we can decide on a convenient regular time to meet for ongoing weekly sessions at the same location. I work either short or long term or open ended. This is something that we can discuss further when we meet in relation to your own particular needs.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
