About me

Specialising in Adult, Children and Youth Counselling

Are you searching for a trusted counsellor for children and young people?  I specialise in providing therapeutic support for children and adolescents dealing with a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and developmental challenges. With years of experience and a compassionate approach, I create a safe, nurturing space where young clients feel empowered to explore their feelings, build resilience, and develop healthier coping mechanisms.

As a child and youth counsellor, I use evidence-based approaches like play therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and creative therapy to meet the unique needs of children and teens. I work with young people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, school-related stress, low self-esteem, and trauma. My goal is to help them express themselves in a way that feels natural and comfortable, fostering positive change.

I understand that parents and guardians are looking for a counsellor who can provide a specialist approach to children's mental health. That’s why I offer tailored therapy plans, recognising that every young person is different. Whether your child is dealing with bullying, behavioural issues, or family changes like divorce, I am here to support them every step of the way.

Book a consultation today and see how professional, child-centered therapy can make a lasting difference in your child's life.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
