About me

My name is Kubra, I am an Accredited CBT Psychotherapist with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Therapists. I specialise as a CBT Therapist, EMDR Practitioner (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) and clinical Supervisor.

A little bit about me, I am born and bred from Yorkshire. I have worked across many services up and down the country in treating mental health problems. I have helped hundreds of people to gain the quality of life. I have created a safe place environment with no judgement for you to understand your problem(s), space for discovery, create goals and learn new techniques that will help you into the future.

As a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and EMDR Therapist, I work in both public NHS (IAPT) services and private sectors. I specialise in assessing and treating a wide range of anxiety and mood disorders in adults including PTSD Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, Social Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), General Anxiety, Health Anxiety, Complex PTSD (C-PTSD), Low Self Esteem, Panic Disorder, Body Dysmorphic Disorder and Specific Phobias.

Contact me and arrange a no commitment free initial consultation for 20 minutes via telephone or video conferencing call within 48 hours of request.

I currently provide all sessions via remote video conferencing. These sessions have proven to be valuable over the years with more flexibility at a time that suits you without the extra added need of travelling, parking and waiting rooms. You can have expert CBT and EMDR therapy in the comfort of your own home or somewhere that suits you best, at the time most convenient. Research evidence indicates that video conference CBT sessions are just as effective as in person face to face.
