About me

ProActive Mind is a counselling service specialising in psychodynamic therapy for young adults.

With over a decade of experience working with young adults, I’m passionately committed to fostering positive change in their lives. ProActive Mind is dedicated to providing a unique counselling approach that enables young adults to make informed decisions and effectively navigate life’s challenges.

I’ve worked in local schools as both an in-house counsellor and Senior Mental Health Lead. In this capacity, I’ve gained extensive experience not only working with adolescents but also addressing mental health issues in educational settings.

With a thorough understanding of the education system, I ensure that the support provided is reinforced both at home and within the school environment, providing young adults with a wraparound support package during their wellbeing journey.

Further information

At ProActive Mind, I provide a compassionate psychodynamic counselling service designed to support young adults as they navigate their unique emotional and developmental challenges. With over a decade of dedicated experience, I understand the importance of creating a safe and nurturing environment where young minds can feel seen, heard and understood.

During the past 10 years, I’ve worked in several West Berkshire secondary schools developing and building their mental health provisions, as well as supporting students.

Working in the educational system has given me the experience and knowledge required to support families and help their young adults navigate school life.

My approach to therapy is child-centred and holistic, blending professional expertise with genuine empathy. I’m able to form a deep, trusting connection with each child, encouraging open exploration of their emotions, thoughts and experiences. Together, we uncover insights that foster resilience, self-awareness and emotional growth.

Every child’s journey is unique, and my commitment is to tailor therapeutic interventions that respect their individuality. Whether your child is experiencing anxiety, behavioural challenges or simply needs support in processing life’s complexities, I’m here to help guide them towards healing and self-discovery. If you’re looking for an experienced and compassionate counsellor to walk alongside your child on their journey, please reach out.

Let’s work together to create a foundation of strength, understanding and wellbeing for your family.
