About me
You don’t have to be in crisis to come to counselling.
Sometimes it’s simply that you feel overwhelmed, exhausted, anxious or low — or unlike yourself. You might be the one who keeps everything going for everyone else, yet quietly struggling underneath.
I work primarily with women navigating grief, bereavement, menopause, life transitions and relationship problems. Many of the women I support appear strong and capable on the outside, but inside feel lost, emotionally drained or unsure how to steady themselves again.
If you’re carrying grief that hasn’t had space to breathe, struggling with anxiety or low mood, or feel that something in your life has shifted and you’re trying to make sense of it, you are not alone.
Counselling offers a calm, safe and consistent space where you don’t have to hold it all together.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a First-Class BA (Hons) in Therapeutic Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Level 5 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
I am an accredited registered member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and work in accordance with their ethical framework.
Alongside my formal training, I have over 15 years’ experience working in palliative care, supporting individuals and families facing grief, loss and significant life changes. This experience has deeply informed my understanding of how complex and individual emotional pain can be.
I undertake regular clinical supervision in line with professional requirements and am committed to ongoing professional development to ensure my practice remains ethical, reflective and informed.
Recent professional development includes:
• Grief and bereavement
• Menopause awareness and emotional wellbeing
• Working with anxiety and low mood
• Supporting relationship difficulties.
