About me

Taking that step towards getting support isn’t easy, but it can be one of the kindest things you do for yourself. You deserve a space where you can talk openly and be heard without judgment.

I am passionate about helping people and supporting you to become the best version of yourself. I believe therapy is a space where you can untangle what might be weighing you down. It is a place where you can rediscover your own resilience.

My approach is compassionate and collaborative, I work with you to explore some of your challenges and empower you to find your own way to heal and grow

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Fees

£50.00 - £60.00

Additional information

I offer a free 15 minute telephone conversation to see what’s bringing you to therapy and your goals

Then the first session is discounted as this gives us both the opportunity to meet and get a feel for how we would work together. Finding the right counsellor can be daunting and I want you to feel comfortable to share. The first session is where we will go through the assessment form and counselling agreement

I would suggest committing to 6 sessions to start with but honestly this is your journey so there is no actual commitment, I just ask that you give me 48 hours notice to cancel.
My fee depends on the location:

SE1 - Southwark £60
Online or Bexleyheath - £50

I work with adults and children & young people who are facing anxiety, low mood, depression, relationship or family challenges, and life transitions. I also support those who simply want to understand themselves more deeply and work through some of life’s challenges.
