I am an experienced psychotherapist working with both individuals and couples, bringing warmth and empathy to my work. I offer a safe and confidential environment for clients to explore their issues, struggles and anxieties. I support clients to look at family and peer messages, anxiety related issues, historical patterns, relationship issues and patterns of behaviour. The work is to become aware and understand what is holding you back or keeping you stuck. I will support you to make changes that help you have a better awareness of what works for you in the present and a better sense of self. To be less anxious and to be able to handle old habits which keep you from reaching your full potential. To be the one in charge of you.
I am bilingual offering psychotherapy and counselling in English and Greek. I have worked on projects supporting unemployed adults and adolescents, and as a volunteer at MIND. I run private practices in Central and North London. I have worked at Spectrum Therapy, an organisational member of the UKCP, for the past twenty-five years.
I work with people from all religious backgrounds, sexual orientation, cultures and class systems and am especially interested in supporting people to look at cultural and gender differences in personal and professional relationships and enhance understanding of our unique differences and how we can work/live together.
I have experience in working with bereavement, anxiety, depression, relationship issues and pain management. I also work with work issues, multiple roles, boundaries and mediation.
