About me
Hello and welcome to my page!
Are you seeking a quiet space to process your thoughts and feelings? I offer a non-judgmental, empathetic, caring and safe environment where we can explore the best path forward for you. I work in a Person-Centred way where I place your needs and values at the heart of our work together. In a world full of opinions and judgements, making informed decisions can be challenging. Together, we can navigate and determine what is best for you.
If you could please email me for further information or you are welcome to call or text my work number 07770255342.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified member with an ABC Diploma in Level 4 Therapeutic Counselling, Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Skills and Introduction to Counselling. Additionally, I have gained knowledge about mental health through my BSc Psychology Degree. As a part of my commitment to continuing professional development (CPD) I regularly get involved in workshops, watching podcasts or reading books which further enhance my knowledge in the field.
I have a diverse background in the mental health field, with a solid foundation of knowledge gained through my Psychology Degree, Counselling Diplomas, and an Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care.
Throughout my counselling career, I’ve supported individuals facing a variety of challenges such as trauma, abuse, bereavement, anxiety, relationship difficulties, identity crises, and stress. I’ve been part of organisations such as Cruse Bereavement Support, ELOP Health and Wellbeing London, and Luton All Women’s Centre. My therapeutic experience spans online, telephone, and face-to-face counselling. I strive to create a welcoming, relaxed, and LGBTQIA+ friendly environment.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I am a registered member of the MBACP and I was taught counselling in a Person-Centred way.
As a part of my private practice I offer short term or long term therapy via video call or through telephone consisting of 50 minutes per session. It is your choice whether you would like counselling through telephone or through a video call.
Working online allows us to see each other, create a professional relationship between yourself and I, and it gives us an opportunity to discuss anything that is on your mind. If online counselling is not suitable for you, I am happy to offer counselling through the phone where you will be able to express how you are feeling in a way that is most comfortable for you.
As well as my private practice, I also work as a counsellor at a Women’s Centre, supporting women who have suffered abuse, trauma and had negative experiences.
