About me

Hi, whatever has brought you to this point and why you’re considering therapy will be unique to you. Our struggles are no more or less than the person who stands next to us they are just different but how we manage those struggles is ultimately defining. Do you have goals, aspirations, are you anxious stressed or depressed or perhaps feeling isolated alone and find yourself retreating from life? Talking things through can be the first small steps to long term changes. My work will always be centred around you and the space will be safe, empathic and non-judgemental.
As a therapist I am always guided by the client and their needs. I really understand that the first steps to engage in personal growth of any kind can be daunting. I invite you to make contact with me, we can arrange an initial meeting and you can see if what I offer feels right for you with no pressure or expectation.
I began my studying in 2011 after an 18 month bout of depression and anxiety and wanted to understand what had got me to that point. I gained my honors degree in 2016 and have had the honour of working with clients since 2014 from ages 15 years. My experience both personal and with others is that having that person to talk to and someone who really listens. I have had the privilege to walk side by side with many diverse individuals and to have had the honour of supporting them in their personal process.

I have also studied focusing, CBT, mindfulness, group facilitation and creative thinking.

I am member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).

I work with:

  • Adults
  • Young people (16 plus)
  • Older people who thought they were too old to change
  • Relationships
  • People who want to realise a fulfilling life

Please feel free to text / call (07432889632), email kirstypcc@yahoo.com. Sessions are held in Norwich and take place in a private and relaxed environment.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.
