About me
Hi, I’m Kira.
Are you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or struggling with patterns in your life that seem difficult to change?
Perhaps you find yourself people-pleasing, doubting your worth, or feeling emotionally drained in relationships. Many of the clients I work with are still affected by early experiences such as emotional neglect, abandonment, or narcissistic abuse. These experiences can leave lasting patterns of self-criticism, anxiety, or difficulty trusting yourself and others.
You might appear capable on the outside while feeling unsettled or insecure within.
As a BACP registered, qualified, integrative counsellor, I offer a warm, compassionate space where you can explore these experiences safely and at your own pace.
My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in empathy, meaning our work together focuses on safety, understanding, and empowerment.
In therapy, we can gently explore the patterns that may be holding you back and help you to:
• understand the roots of anxiety and low self-worth
• process painful experiences in a safe and manageable way
• develop healthier boundaries
• feel calmer and more emotionally regulated
• build genuine self-compassion and confidence
Many clients tell me they begin to feel lighter, clearer, and more connected to themselves as our work progresses.
My role is not to tell you what you should do or to “fix” you. Instead, I walk alongside you as we explore your experiences together, helping you reconnect with your inner strength and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.
I offer in-person sessions in Congleton and Wilmslow, as well as online sessions across the UK.
I offer a free 15-minute introductory call so we can see whether working together feels right.
My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, meaning I tailor our work to your individual needs and goals.
I draw from:
Person-Centred Therapy, creating a warm and accepting space where you can feel heard and understood
Transactional Analysis, exploring early life experiences and relationship patterns
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), helping to identify and gently challenge unhelpful thought patterns
As a trauma-informed counsellor, I prioritise safety, collaboration, and empowerment. We move at a pace that feels right for you.
Taking the first step:
Reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step, especially if you are used to managing everything on your own.
If you are considering therapy, you are very welcome to get in touch for an initial conversation to see whether working together feels right for you.
You do not have to navigate things alone. Working together can offer you the space to understand yourself more deeply and begin to move towards a life with greater confidence, clarity, and emotional wellbeing.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
