About me
Hi and welcome,
I'm Kim , a Humanistic Counsellor and Trauma-Informed Coach offering integrative support for emotional recovery, confidence building, and nervous system healing. I work with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck or disconnected, especially those navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, or the after affects of difficult relationships.
My approach is gentle, collaborative, and grounded in emotional safety. I draw from Person-Centred, Gestalt, Somatic, and IFS-Informed practices, using everyday language and creative tools like metaphor and journalling. You don't have to have the "right words," just a willingness to begin.
Whether you're seeking clarity, healing or simply space to breathe, I offer a calm, non-judgemental environment to help you reconnect with your inner strength and move forward at your own pace.
My experience includes working with survivors of childhood abuse at AAAC Counselling Services, supporting families through Butterflies East Sussex, and offering telephone counselling to unpaid carers via Care for the Carers.
Now I offer private sessions in Pevensey and at Younique Wellbeing Studios in Bexhill, a holistic centre for mental health and healing, online sessions or walk and talk therapy.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
