About me

Through my 12 years + experience of working with clients, I know the courage involved in taking the first step into therapy. This courage will be rewarded with meaningful change, as we work together to achieve your goals.

I am an Accredited Psychotherapist, and I practise a CBT-led, integrative approach to therapy. This is based on the foundation of first and foremost, forming an honest, safe, genuine, transparent and non-judgemental connection, which will allow us to work well together.

There is a fundamental and profound connection between our body, heart, mind and spirit. So in my work with clients, I appreciate the deep complexity which creates problems. I will work with you to ensure that we create the right conditions to resolve and heal the original issues, as well as any related issues that emerge through our therapy.

Using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as a main basis of therapy, we can work to get to the core of the issue. Understand what has created the problem and the action that needs to be taken to effect positive and enduring change. My approach to therapy/counselling is grounded in the principle that it is the building of trust between us that will offer a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore your issues, with me alongside you. I am an integrative therapy practitioner and constantly embrace many of the leading-edge, innovative approaches to guide people in resolving their issues more quickly and thoroughly. I am a Schema Therapy-informed practitioner, and I have studied Mindfulness with CBT.

Please feel free to call for an initial chat, and we can take things from there.

Some of my recent clients recently gave me this feedback...

"Kim was extremely patient, warm and encouraging in sessions. I was able to reach my goals in a time frame that I never thought possible; however, Kim provided me with the hope and tools that I needed to gain the confidence in myself." Female client; age 28.

"I found Kim to be warm, helpful and knowledgeable in her field and this helped with my overall experience" Male client; age 36.
