About me
I am a humanistic counsellor, and a BACP registered member/ Accredited member of The National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society, with extensive experience in addiction, bereavement, childhood sexual abuse and trauma on both a one to one and group level, who through a precise and passionate approach has yielded excellent result. I have over twenty years of experience working in the addiction field. I also have specialist experience in counselling bereaved people and people with complex needs from abuse and trauma. I have spent the last twenty years facilitating, attending and training on personal growth and development workshops internationally.
I work primarily with:
Addiction, Bereavement, Abuse, Anxiety, Depression, Family Issues,Inner Child, Identity, Self-Esteem, Personal Development and Therapy using Mindfulness based approaches.
By building a close counselling relationship between myself and the client, I provide clients with an opportunity to explore a deeper understanding of who they are, what they feel and creating personal choices, whilst encouraging self-awareness and self-realisation. By offering a non-judgemental, supportive and understanding space we can focus predominately on an individual’s unique personal potential to explore growth, love and psychological understanding.

Further information
Talking therapies can help you work out how to deal with negative thoughts and feelings and make positive changes.
They can help people who are feeling distressed by difficult events in their lives as well as people with mental health problems.
Talking about your thoughts and feelings can help you deal with times when you feel troubled about something. If you turn a worry in your mind it can grow.
But talking about it can help you work out what is bothering you and why, and this is where talking to a professional therapist can help.
