About me
Do you feel lost or disconnected? Are you struggling with anxiety, depression or addiction. Perhaps you feel stuck in old patterns or painful and unfulfilling relationships and can’t seem to navigate your way through into more healthy ways of managing and a life that where you feel connected and in control.
How can therapy help?
Therapy can help us see things from a different perspective and provide clarity, it’s is a safe space to work through painful or difficult thoughts and feelings and allows us to identify a way forward.
How I work:
My style is collaborative and open-minded, drawing on Humanistic and CBT approaches to tailor a plan that best suits your needs and goals.
I am a fully qualified therapist and registered member of BACP. I qualified 12 years ago and since then have gained experience in working with male and female survivors of domestic abuse, rape and childhood sexual abuse, PTSD, substance and behavioural addictions (sex and porn, love and relationships, food, shopping).
My background, training and experience include working with:
- OCD
- Intrusive thoughts
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Neurodiversity - Autism and ADHD
- Relationships - Including relationship betrayal
- Identity
- Stress and burn out
- Fostering and adoption
- Pain and chronic illness
I work with adults and young people aged 12+
Sessions last 50 mins and can be:
- Face to face
- Online
- Walk and talk
- Home visits can also be arranged
What next:
Finding the right therapist can feel a bit daunting and overwhelming, there are so many factors to consider; How does it work? Does the therapist have the skills and knowledge I need? Will they understand me?
I think it can be really important to talk with a potential therapist to ensure you feel comfortable and safe before committing to an ongoing therapeutic relationship.
Please feel free to pop me an email or give me a call and we can arrange a free 20 min informal chat where I can answer any questions you might have. In this space you will hopefully get a sense of whether or not I am the right therapist for you. From there we can arrange regular sessions, either face to face or online and we can work out a plan around what you would like to achieve from your sessions.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
