About me
Sometimes life becomes overwhelming, leaving us questioning our purpose, what to do, or who we truly are. When things get tough, what we often need most is simply another human being to stand with us, someone to help process painful memories, make sense of past experiences, and find answers so you can move forward and write your next chapter.
I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space to explore your experiences, thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and self-perceptions without fear of criticism. Rooted in Person-Centred therapy, my approach focuses on stepping into your world and walking alongside you as you move towards greater self-acceptance, confidence, and clarity.
Together, we can look at your wider environment; your relationships, daily surroundings, life circumstances, and past influences, to understand how they shape your world. Through this reflection, we can uncover what truly matters to you, clarify your core values, and help you reconnect with a clear sense of identity and purpose, enabling you to be more present in your life.
I work one-to-one, in a private, confidential space, either face-to-face in Pool or online and telephone. I follow the BACP Ethical Framework to ensure that I am supporting you in the safest way.
I work with adults aged 16+ and have worked with all ages with varying topics from anxiety, grief, bereavement, parenting struggles, loss, loss of identity, family dynamics, depression, overthinking, worrying, boundaries, healing past experiences, trauma, childhood abuse, lack of self-esteem & self-confidence, navigating life transitions, decision making, relationship difficulties, self-regulation, relationship breakdowns.
I offer a 20-minute free online or telephone introductory session, to discuss what I offer and what brings you to counselling, what you aim to get from your sessions and to get an understanding if you feel we could work well together, as it is the most important element of your therapy.
In your first session with me, we will discuss our client-counsellor agreement, where we both agree on the terms of our time together, including confidentiality and cancellation policy. Then the session will be opened up to you to talk about whatever is important to you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
